Conditions Headline
This is what South Florida water people wait for. Buoy 41122 offshore Fort Lauderdale is reading 2.0 ft this morning. Lake Worth pier wind is 4 kt from the WNW. No advisories anywhere from Jupiter to Key Largo. Seas 2 ft or under from Fort Lauderdale south. The only residual swell is offshore Jupiter and the Space Coast where 4-5 ft NE swell at 11 sec is still running. Long period, clean, organized. Great for surfing, not ideal for small vessel offshore work up north.
BHB high tide 11:20 AM today, rated dark green by iDiveFlorida. Window 10:35 AM to 12:05 PM. Yesterday Narcosis dove Juno's Ledge and North Doubles just up the coast. 40-50 ft visibility, 75°F, trickle N current. Reef sharks, lemon sharks, a Goliath grouper, a loggerhead turtle, southern stingrays, schools of big jacks, and a moray eel. That is a standout dive day for Palm Beach county and the viz should carry into today.
Looe Key confirmed yesterday afternoon. NE 12 kt, 1-2 ft, 45 ft visibility, 76°F, no current. Best Keys reading since the front moved through. Monday and Tuesday continue clean across the board before conditions start building again Wednesday.

Daily Safety Tip
High rip current risk with calm winds and why it happens
Today looks deceptively calm at the beach. Winds are light, skies are clear. But the NE swell from last week's front is still pushing energy into the shore. Rip currents form when that energy pushes water over sandbars and it then rushes back out through gaps. You cannot always see them. Today's high rip current risk at Palm Beach County and Space Coast beaches is real even though it doesn't look rough. Swim near a lifeguard, swim parallel to shore if caught, and never swim alone.
Disclaimer: The Florida Flow aggregates publicly available NOAA forecasts, buoy data, and operator logs. Conditions ratings are informational only. Buoy readings are from offshore stations 20-60 nm from shore. Nearshore and inshore conditions will be smaller. Always verify with your operator or captain before heading out.
