Daily Safety Tip

Sunday is a major offshore event, Saturday night is when it starts

NOAA has not changed Sunday's forecast. NE 25-30 kt with seas building to 9-13 ft, occasionally 17 ft. The window to act is today and Friday. If you have any offshore plans this weekend, move them to Friday morning. Saturday afternoon the seas start building. By Saturday night small vessels should be off the water. Do not wait until Saturday to make that call. Always file a float plan and never go out alone.
