Friday is the window. Buoy 41114 offshore Jupiter is down to 3.3 ft at 10 sec this morning, easing from 4.6 ft yesterday. Buoy 41122 offshore Fort Lauderdale at 2.3 ft, nearly flat. Lake Worth pier ESE at 10 kt. No advisories today. Offshore seas 2-3 ft across the board from NOAA — a clean final day before the weekend event begins.
BHB high tide today is 4:38 PM. The iDiveFlorida tide window runs 4:08 PM to 5:08 PM, light green. Visibility was confirmed at approximately 5 ft on Thursday by a diver on site. The front passed Wednesday night so today is 48 hours post-front. BHB typically recovers in 48-72 hours. Expecting 15-25 ft today, improving through the afternoon as the tide window hits later in the day.
Rainbow Reef confirmed excellent sites yesterday: Spiegel Grove at 60 ft vis with moderate N current, Benwood Wreck 50 ft with turtle sightings on a night dive, Nine Channel 45 ft, Christ Statue 40 ft. Looe Key dropped from 50 ft in the morning to 30 ft by the afternoon as conditions built. Keys are diveable today, morning trips will be better than afternoon.

Rainbow Reef: Spiegel Grove 60 ft vis, moderate N current. Benwood Wreck 50 ft vis on a night dive — "turtle city." Nine Channel 45 ft. Christ Statue 40 ft, 2-3 ft seas. Captain Hook's: Looe Key 50 ft AM, dropping to 30 ft PM as conditions built. Water 77°F across all sites. Morning trips significantly better than afternoon. Eagle Rays still active in Key Largo since March 13.

Sunday is the worst day but Monday and Tuesday are also hazardous offshore. E 20-25 kt and 5-10 ft offshore seas persist through Tuesday. If you have any offshore plans Monday or Tuesday, check the updated forecast before going out. The pattern does not clear until mid-week. All offshore sea heights cited are from NOAA buoys 20-60 nm from shore. Nearshore conditions will be smaller but still rough Sunday through Tuesday. Never go out alone and always file a float plan.
