Marine Life Sighting Alert

Confirmed — Key Largo, Mar 16 (most recent observed report)

Captain Jim filed from Eagle Ray Alley at 3:19 PM yesterday - 50 ft vis, 2–3 ft seas, no current. Conditions held through the evening.

Blue Heron Bridge: rays, seahorses, octopus, and frogfish typical at the morning high tide - 7:50 AM is your window today, nothing after 8:20 AM.

Jupiter and Palm Beach: sharks, grouper, and rays on ledges are consistent with seasonal pattern but seas are too rough for a dive report today.

Daily Safety Tip

Multi-day blow — Small Craft Advisory through Wednesday 8 PM

NOAA flags seas building to 5–8 ft this afternoon with 20–25 kt north winds. This is a multi-day event - do not plan offshore dives Tuesday or Wednesday anywhere north of Key Largo.

BHB window is 7:20–8:20 AM only. Outside that window current will be strong and vis drops fast on the outgoing tide.

Key Largo is the only safe dive today - get your dives done before noon. Never dive alone.
